Stone of Shona has recently partnered with Bowood Lodge in Harare to feature Stephen Murenza as the artist in residence. Stephens sculptures are in high demand from collectors around the world and Christine Hyslop owner of Harare's finest Lodge has offered her Lodge and grounds to feature Stephens work as the artist in residence.

Christine has a long history and involvement with Shona sculpture and Stone of Shona. We both share a passion for Shona culture. Shona Masterpiece heads to New York collector!

 

 

One of the last known works by renowned Shona master sculptor the late Thomas Zinyeka has been acquired by New York collector Ken Stahl. Ken has collected works by Witness Bonjesi and other Shona artists and discovered 'Care Free Woman' a beautiful and evocative Springstone sculpture on Stone of Shona's Gallery.
